And this is why I love the Freak Out Friday series. Alan John Herbert has created a sweater for the AHL's Syracuse Crunch modeled after the '90s kids show, the Power Rangers.

To those who have rated this less than a five, let me point out its brilliance:
1) The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers logo prominently featured a lightning bolt, the Crunch's NHL team.
2) The Crunch logo looks like a Power Ranger.
3) It actually makes a decent jersey.
4) It's a Power Rangers concept on a Freak Out Friday. Come on.
Gotta agree 100% with Scott. You can't not love this jersey.
I'm not a fan of Power Rangers, but that jersey is still awesome, 5/5
Always loved the Power rangers as a kid this is hysterical 5/5, great work!
love it! can't say that enough. if i was a crunch fan, i would buy the $hit out of this.
I wish "CRANSTON" was the name on the back.
Fun fact: The Blue Ranger's name - Billy Cranston - was a nod to now-famous Bryan Cranston, who worked on the show in many ways - Writer, Director, Voice, and he even played a few villains.
Anyways - nice jersey! I don't think there's a better team better suited for it, and really, who would want something any different than this? It's perfect.
Incredibly creative and who didnt like Power Rangers as a kid?!? I like seeing creative and imaginative jerseys on here. The classic/tradition looking jerseys (however nice), are boring sometimes. Excellent work!
Completely agree with the above posts. Despite being incredibly random this jersey is amazing! Sure, I wouldn't expect it to be a full-time uniform (thank god) but as someone who loved Power Rangers as a kid I would buy this any day just for the novelty factor of it.
OMG OMG my beer league team MUST HAVE THIS!
