0025: Green-a-thon, Part III

Last week, the New Jersey Devils announced they are renewing their annual tradition of going retro for St. Patrick's Day in 2012. Since 2010, the Devils have used the occasion to sport a green-infused uniform that debuted when they moved from Colorado in 1982. Andy Bugelli has taken the idea a step further by making the majority of uniform green instead of red. I'm not sure I'm sold, though. How can the Devils wear anything but red?

Fantastic design, as a jersey. But agreed-- for the Devils, in particular, it would be a tough sell to wear anything but red.

But for another club, it's a great looking sweater!

Resembles too much like Minnesota's alternate in my opinion

Thanks for the words, Iain!

Looking back, the "Devils" in anything else but red doesn't make much sense. But I'm happy with the look of the green uniform, the white one is just okay and even I can admit it but I'm glad you like it also!

I hope I'll be able to redeem myself later on this site.

the white one is pretty good, but the green is just too much green imo. Players would look like giant skating pickles. Also like others have said, Devils should stick to red.

It would be a nice change of pace if it was worn just for St. Patty's.
