Sens Tease Third Jersey

The Ottawa Senators are using the splash page of their official web site to tease their new black third jersey. There's a shoulders-up picture of Daniel Alfredsson donning his new duds.

Got some interesting striping going on around the sleeve there. And we now know that the primary logo will be featured on the shoulders. And based on the "C" it looks like this jersey will use the same lettering style as the regular sweaters.

And maybe it's just me and the fact that I'm not a native French speaker but "Retour en force du noir" just doesn't have the same ring as "Back in Black."

Don't forget, I'll be leaking a full (if grainy) view of the Sens' new third jersey during one of the next three Live Chats scheduled between now and Tuesday. The Senators will officially unveil their third jersey on Saturday, November 22.
