Fans attending games at the American Airlines Center in Dallas tell Icethetics that a message appearing on the scoreboard confirms Saturday, November 18 as the unveiling date. It says those attending the charity luncheon on that day will be the first to see the new third jersey. Promotion of the event on the team's web site makes no mention of the unveiling.

An anonymous source tells Icethetics that the Stars' alternate sweater will mirror the design of the team's home jersey with the colors inverted. This white sweater is said to have DALLAS arched across the chest above the player's number in black text with a padded green outline.
