Collection 28: Canadian White Out

It's weird. Last time I updated Concepts was only a week ago and the Lightning had just dispatched with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round of the playoffs. Now the Bolts are already moving on to the Conference Finals with a sweep of the Capitals! So much can happen in a week.

Now with a brief break in the action, I thought it might be time for a concept post that honors a playoff tradition — the white out. And it just so happens these are all Canadian teams.

If it seems my team's unlikely playoff run is resulting in fewer updates to the site, I won't argue with that. I fully expected to be enjoying the Stanley Cup playoffs from the sidelines. But with my team in the middle of it, I find it hard to spend my free time doing anything but cheering them on.

I'll do my best to keep the updates coming when I can.

Wow! I am extremely impressed by that Canucks jersey. Being a Canucks fan I am quite picky with their jersey and I tend not to like many of the Canucks submissions, but this one immediately grabbed me. I want to see the home version now.

Now that I said that, is that just supposed to be the away version of their current third?

I am impressed with every single one of these, especially the Habs and Leafs! One question....what about the Oilers?

Add a black stripe to the bottom of the Sens sweater to go with the thin red one and you've got a winner on your hands with that one.

Canadiens jersey is cool - but why not stick with the traditional logo and not the circular one. Shoulder patches would have to go too on that jersey. I do like the white numbers though.

I would be giddy if the Sens came out with that jersey! I wouldn't mind a black collar on it though.

What's with the Nordiques shoulder patches on the Habs jersey?

@ nathan

No there are a few differences from the 3rd jersey. I'm actually in the process of making a blue version now. Hard to see, but there is a bit of silver there, among some other things.

the patch on the Habs concept is the fleur de lis and is a symbol a France and the French culture in General. Love the concept Montreal should shake things up every once in a while

What happens if the team actually uses one of your designs?
