0459: Dallas Stars III

On Day 1 we had one concept. On Day 2, two concepts. Today is Day 3 of Dallas Stars Week. First up is Brian Brideau, who's borrowed his design from a couple of sources. First, the running theme of the day is the Stars logo designed by Torch Creative and how it's been implemented by our artists. Brian's also borrowed the new jersey design recently unveiled by the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders. Overall, it's a very cool look!

Bastian Schmülling went with a green-only version of Torch's logo. His monochromatic set is absolutely gorgeous as far as I'm concerned. It's the Red Wings of green sweaters and one of my favorite concepts.

Finally, David Paul Kerr shares his primary and alternate uniform designs based on the Torch logos. He has a more traditional sensibility that includes Dallas' gold and black. All three of these are great. And while Torch has said they did not design the team's new logo, they've put together an awesome concept.

0458: Dallas Stars II

Dallas Stars Week proceeds with a pair of unique redesigns. Zachary T. Milyak had an interesting idea I've never seen before — turning the "D" itself into a star.

Meanwhile, Mark Morgan opted to simplify with his concept. Which of the two do you prefer?

0457: Dallas Stars I

All right, I hope you guys like the Dallas Stars, because we're embarking on two solid weeks of Stars concepts starting today. As you know, the club will officially unveil its new logo and uniforms on June 4. So leading up to the big event will be as many Stars designs as I can fit. We kick it all off with the talented Ross Taylor and his great green and silver take on Dallas.

0450: Stars with a Sliver of Silver

The very prolific Bastian Schmülling has a bright, silver-infused redesign for the Dallas Stars — who will be unveiling their new look on June 4. (By the way, in the lead-up to the big event, expect to see A LOT more Stars concepts on these pages.)

0422: Yet Another Stars Concept

Expect the Dallas Stars concepts to keep coming until the team finally unveils its new look for 2013. Today, Michael Baumann shares this one with us. (Of course he designed it prior to the trade deadline which sent Jagr to the Bruins.) Not a bad look, though. I'm a fan.

0410: The Basics of Green and Gold

The Stars are getting a new look next fall. Pat Westin has an idea that involves simplifying everything. Though I can't help but wonder if the W-shaped stripes are anything other than the designer's signature hiding in plain sight. (By the way, this concept was obviously made prior to last week. Morrow won't get a chance to wear the new look — whatever it is.)

0394: Green and Two Golds

On the heels of St. Patrick's Day, I thought another green Dallas Stars concept was in order. Thomas Hopkins provides us with this look which, while more colorful, relies perhaps a bit too much on the wordmark style crest of the existing sweaters. It is the first I've seen to try a two-tone gold color scheme. Thoughts?
