In today's concept, Avi Stein imagines a rebranding for the Columbus Blue Jackets as the Columbus Generals — you know, after a few military promotions. For a crest, he's opting for the unused logo seen in a video on the Blue Jackets' official website last year. For the shoulders, he's borrowing a logo originally designed by Tim E. O'Brien.

This weekend, Chance and Jake Waddell bring us the next set of jerseys in their Winter Classic series. Last week, Caleb was first to comment and asked to see Columbus and Tampa Bay featured in this one.
If you want to pick the next two teams, you know what to do.
This week seems to be all about changing the color palettes of existing teams. So why not give it a shot in Columbus? If the Stars were to switch to red, white and blue, maybe the Blue Jackets could switch away from it. Justin Cox infuses some gold into a design inspired by the club's alternate jersey. It's a pretty sharp look and would certainly be unique in the NHL.

If there's one thing the Columbus Blue Jackets need more of, it's cannon. There are three cannon in this one concept alone by James Tyalor. What do you think? Should the third jersey logo become the primary mark some day?

Today we're looking to Colin May's rather untraditional look for the Columbus Blue Jackets. I kind of like the sash-style striping, but I wouldn't cut it off there, I'd go all the way over the top and around the back.
