0042: An Ohio Classic

Before the Columbus Blue Jackets ever turn up in a Winter Classic, they need to get a lot better. But I think they'll make it eventually. Ohio is a great place for outdoor hockey. And when the time comes, perhaps the team could honor its in-state predecessor. That's what Trevor Richards has for us — a Blue Jackets uniform with all the marks of the old Cleveland Barons.

Honestly, I would like these to be their full-time threads. The logos are really cool, but I'm in love with the striping! The Blue Jackets current home and aways are ugly to me because of lack of striping. I really think all uniforms need a defined bottom stripe, unlike their current ones. The blue jackets would look so much classier wearing these all the time then their current sweaters.

I actually like the state outline around the numbers on the sleeves, its unique, good thinking...

This jersey needs to happen - whether the Jackets play in the Winter Classic or not...

I really like these. They're simple and clean, and the colors work so well together. Superb job.

I love the tie-in to the Cleveland Barons. Distinctive, with a nod to the history of NHL hockey in the state. Very nice!!!
