Icethetics posts leaked images of the Bruins third jersey.

Icethetics obtains confirmation from Reebok that the Bruins will unveil their third jersey on Monday, November 24. The team has yet to make an official statement on a release date.

During their State of the Bruins event, the team gives season ticket holders a sneak peek of the new third jersey when Milan Lucic walks on stage wearing it. It does not have the gold stripe. The team makes a reference of this brief presentation on their web site, however this is not the "official" release of the sweater.

TSN.ca posts a video featuring a short clip of Parice Bergeron during a morning skate wearing the black Bruins jersey. There is no gold stripe around the bottom of this sweater.

The Boston Globe gets confirmation from the Bruins that they will wear a third jersey for 2008-09.

During a game broadcast on NESN, video from a morning skate is shown featuring a player skating around the ice in a sweater the Bruins describe as being a third jersey "finalist." The jersey is black with a gold stripe around the bottom.
