The Post-Dispatch is treated to an early look at the new jersey and learns the Blues will unveil their alternate sweater at FANfest on Sunday, September 21. Writer Jeremy Rutherford also details the design of the jersey and that it will be worn for 10 home games and 5 road games this season.

Howard Berger posts detailed descriptions of all 18 new third jerseys. He describes the Blues' as being dark blue with white, black-trimmed stripes around the sleeves and waist. The Blue Note is on the front within a circle and the Gateway Arch behind it.

Blues chairman Dave Checketts tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the team will introduce a new navy third jersey for the 2008-09 season incorporating the Blue Note and the Gateway Arch on the front.
